Trump Media Seeks $100,000 Monthly Fee for Early Truth Social API Access

Trump Media Seeks $100,000 Monthly Fee for Early Truth Social API Access

If finalized, the tiered pricing model would create a paid information advantage for institutional investors over retail traders who rely on the same public posts.

Gab-E Intelligence Platform · July 18, 2026

Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Truth Social, has discussed charging financial firms up to $100,000 per month for early access to posts on the platform through a new product called the Truth API, according to reporting by the Washington Examiner and multiple additional outlets published in July 2026. A discounted tier of $60,000 per month has also been pitched to prospective clients, according to the same reports.

The Truth API, or application programming interface, would give Wall Street traders and investment firms faster access to posts made by President Donald Trump and other figures whose statements on Truth Social have historically moved financial markets. Trump Media & Technology Group is a publicly traded company listed on Nasdaq under the ticker DJT (Nasdaq: DJT). The company's stock price and strategic decisions are subject to disclosure requirements under SEC regulations.

The commercial viability of the offering depends on whether institutional clients conclude that early access to Truth Social content provides a tradeable edge. President Trump has previously used Truth Social to announce policy decisions, tariff changes, and personnel appointments — posts that have demonstrably affected equity, bond, and commodity prices within minutes of publication, as documented in multiple financial press reports.

Trump Media & Technology Group has not filed a formal product launch disclosure with the SEC as of the date of this publication, July 18, 2026. The company's most recent annual report (Form 10-K) and quarterly filings (Form 10-Q), available via the SEC's EDGAR database, do not yet reflect the Truth API as a revenue line. It is not known from public records which, if any, financial firms have signed agreements, what data latency advantage the API would provide, or when commercial service would begin. Full pricing terms and any executed contracts would be required to be disclosed if they constitute material business developments under SEC Regulation FD. A Trump Media investor relations filing or an SEC Form 8-K would be the public document most likely to confirm or modify the figures cited in current press reports.

About
Our Mission

We Follow the Data, Not the Narrative

The Congressional Times exists because public records are public — and the analysis built from them should not be exclusive to those who can afford $60,000-a-year intelligence subscriptions.

Every story published in The Congressional Times is sourced to a verifiable public record: a court filing, a Senate lobbying disclosure, an FEC contribution record, a USASpending contract, or a verified news report. We state our sources inline. We show our math. When we are wrong, we say so publicly.

We do not editorialize in news coverage. We do not use loaded language. Both political parties are held to identical standards.

The Follow the Money investigations are the heart of this publication. Each begins with Gab-E Political Intelligence running against 10+ million government records before a single word of editorial is written.

Powered by Gab-E, an elite global intelligence platform built to democratize political and financial intelligence.

Editorial Policy
Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy

How We Source, Verify, and Correct Our Work

Every factual claim in a Congressional Times story is checked against a primary source: a government filing, a court record, a direct quote, before publication. When a claim can't be verified or doesn't hold up as originally reported, we drop it or reframe it. We do not publish disputed claims as settled fact.

When we get it wrong: we correct the story directly, note the correction and date at the bottom of the piece, and update the record. We do not quietly edit and move on.

Bylines: stories with a named byline are written and fact-checked by that person. Stories without a byline are sourced from Gab-E Political Intelligence, our automated research platform, and are labeled as such.

Ownership: The Congressional Times is published by Gab-E Holdings LLC. Gab-E, our intelligence platform, powers our sourcing and research pipeline.
